It took us a while to fully understand whether the BetSoft title is a video slot or a video game. Gamers will be put in several different rooms, where they will join five other gamers to explore the tombs of pharaohs and battle against mummies, animals and Egyptian Gods. Players will not set bets, they will buy bullets for weapons they will use in their battles and this will count as bets.
Kill your enemies to earn instant prizes and complete quests to get experience points. Defeat the Gods and their hordes to get treasure chests. Pick your weapons carefully, because the bigger the weapon, the bigger the damage.
Since we are entering a pharaoh tomb, be prepared to face plenty of scary creatures. You will be killing Scarab Hatchlings, Shadow Scarabs, Golden Tomb Scrabblers, Ruby Crypt Watchers, Wrapped Minions, Wrapped Shadowguards, Wrapped Spiritguards, Tahawy Warriors, Crimson Bataantas and Emerald Bataantas.
Risen Fire Enemies will also appear, as well as mighty gods: Anubis, the god of death, Osiris, the god of afterlife and Ra, the god of the sun. There is an impressive arsenal of weapons gamers will use Shotguns, Grenades, Machine Guns, Lasers and Plasma Rifles. Use the right-click to lock the target and the left click to shoot.
Once you start playing, you will be asked to enter a username and set the picture of your avatar. Choose the room you want to enter and join a group of other players (six of you will be in one room) who will help you destroy your enemies. Players need to buy bullets and set the cost of bullets which will be used as bets. Each shot costs a certain price, so killing enemies is not cheap.

At the end of each game round, Gods will rise in The Gods have Risen. You will battle against Osiris, Anubis or Ra.
They will not come alone, there will be plenty of their minions surrounding you. Cause damage on god’s health bar and you will increase the cash prize rewarded at the end. Once you defeat God, all XP points and cash prizes will be shared among you and other gamers in your room.
As you collect XP by killing enemies and completing quests, you will be boosting your player levels and progress on the leaderboard. As for the quests, you can be awarded up to 25 quests at a time. Players who get high on the leaderboard will get Treasure Chests containing valuable prizes.
According to the good people of BetSoft, the biggest possible payout in the 2018 release is 5,000 coins. Plasma Rifle prizes will get you up to 1,000 coins, while Laser prizes can go all the way up to 500 coins, just like Machine Gun prizes. BetSoft tried to develop a completely different game, which would combine video slots, video gaming and social games and we feel that the result is far from a video slot. It is more a video game where you can win some serious cash. We are not convinced that all punters will appreciate the change. We are fans of standard video slots, where you get to spin the reels and not kill mummies and deadly creatures. To finish on a positive note, we can say that the visuals are superb, as well as the soundtrack. Time will tell whether this kind of “video slots” will find their place under the sun.
