Evolution to Launch Monopoly Live: Dream Catcher Edition

ICE 2019 has given us a glimpse of the online gambling future and Excel London was a centre stage of innovation this year, welcoming software developers from all over the world. Evolution Gaming was a star of the exhibition, showcasing 10 new games, including a finally revealed mystery release – Monopoly Live: Dream Catcher.

Live Stream and Augmented Reality Combined

Announced as a collaboration between the developer and one of the world’s most beloved brands, the live version of Monopoly, which has been tickling our imagination in the days before the unveiling, lived up to everybody’s expectations. As a hybrid of the iconic board game and Evolution’s prized possession, Dream Catcher, the variant combines the live stream with the augmented reality and 3D animation, adding a new layer to the conventional studio streamed live editions.

While retaining the basic wheel-of-fortune structure, Monopoly Live introduces The Rich Uncle Pennybags as one of the hosts, who leads the players through the virtual gameboard after the Wheel lands on the Dice Roll pocket. The gameplay will then shift to the Monopoly platform and the character will move across the board, unlocking cash prizes and bonus wins. Just like in the actual Monopoly session, rolling doubles will trigger additional dice rolls, granting the players with new opportunities to win.

All the perks of the traditional Evolution Gaming live software are available in the Monopoly version of the Dream Catcher, and the players will be able to use the live chat box, customize the video and audio features or set up the reality checks.
