Ezugi No Commission Baccarat is a live casino table game that cuts out the annoying 5% commission for banker bets. This means playing optimally is no longer penalised with a smaller reward. Instead, Ezugi has moved the house edge elsewhere. The video quality is excellent, as we have come to expect from this developer. There is also a live chat option if you want to talk to others while playing.
Assuming you exclusively play the banker bet, you can expect your RTP will be 98.94%. There are also four different side bets, all focusing on pairs. Player pair, banker pair, perfect pair and either pair can be played during the betting period. They can also be played independently of the main bet.
Bets are the first thing that need to be sorted out before any gameplay can happen. Players choose through their available coin values and then place them on the available main bets and side wagers. You have until the timer runs out to decide what you want to play. After the timer expires, any bets on the board will be accepted and played.
After that, the host will draw two cards for the player and banker hands in a face up position. If needed, the dealer will also draw a third card for one or both sides. With all cards drawn, the side whose sum is closest to eight or nine wins the round. If your main bet has chosen the right side, then you receive a cash prize. If both sides have the same sum value, that results in a tie.
Ezugi has also included a variety of roadmaps and statistics pages to help you keep track of past rounds. This is useful for players who like chasing trends in hopes of finding a pattern of wins they can exploit. You can click or tap on the roadmaps to zoom in on them.
The big change in Ezugi’s No Commission Baccarat is the lack of 5% charge on banker bets. Instead, if a banker bet wins with a sum of six, it will pay a smaller amount.
You accept this bonus by playing the release. The remaining four side bets are something you have to choose to play by putting money down.
The simplest of these wagers win-wise is Either Pair. To win this side bet, the first two cards for either the Player or Banker hand must be a pair. This results in a 5:1 payout if you win. The RTP for Either Pair is 86.29%.
Next up are player and banker pairs. Similar to Either Pair, you need the first two cards to have matching values to win. However, these two side bets only count for those specific hands. Player pair only pays if the pair is formed in the player hand, and the reverse is true for banker pair. Both sides offer an 11:1 reward and have an RTP of 89.64%.
Finally, punters can play the Perfect Pair side bet. To win this wager, the first two cards in either the Player or Banker hand need to have matching values and suits. This offers the greatest payout, worth 25:1. The RTP for this side bet is 86.97%.
Side bets offer better rewards, but their high house edges will no doubt turn off many players. If you want to benefit from No Commission Baccarat’s high RTP, you should play Player and Banker bets. Both grant a 1:1 reward when won. The exception to this are banker wins if the card sum is six. In that case, the payout drops to 0.5:1 instead. The tie bet is the last main wager and is worth 8:1 when won.
While far from a massive title, Ezugi’s No Commission Baccarat is a great addition to their library. We find the compromise it makes to remove the 5% commission to be more than worthwhile. The only thing we would like to see are more side bets. Everything else is top notch!
