f you have ever played standard Baccarat, you won’t need to adjust your strategies too much. XXXTreme Lightning Baccarat plays mostly the same, using 8 standard decks of cards. As a player, you are required to predict which side, Player or Banker, will win the round by having a hand value closest to 9.
The winners are determined after both sides are dealt two cards each. Both may also draw a third card if certain conditions are met. In terms of value, Aces are ranked the lowest and carry 1 point each. Cards from 2 to 9 are valued according to their numerical face values. Kings, Queens, Jacks and 10s are all worth 0 points.
LIGHTNING CARDS
Lightning Baccarat is defined by the inclusion of so-called Lightning Cards. In every round, between 4 and 8 cards are randomly selected from a virtual deck of 52 cards. Lightning cards have multipliers, randomly selected between 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 8x, or 10x.
Lightning Cards increase the payouts of any winning hand they’re a part of. For example, if you bet on Player and the Player hand draws a lightning card containing a 3x multiplier, your winnings are multiplied by 3. These multipliers can actually multiply each other as well and stack up potentially massive prizes.
Additionally, the Tie bet is multiplied by all cards, regardless of which hand they’re in. Similarly, the side bets in XXXTreme Lightning Baccarat can also be multiplied.
To cover the cost of these increased payouts, a 50% Lightning fee is charged on all bets in XXXTreme Lightning Baccarat.
