HOW TO PLAY WILD STACK FRENZY
This game keeps the basic game loop simple, but it has some interesting features that make it stand out.
The game table consists of 5 reels and 3 rows with 20 active paylines. In other words, it’s smaller than most games that come out these days, which means it’s quite good for beginners. As with every slot machine ever, the goal is to hit matching symbols along these paylines. The more symbols you arrange and the higher their value, the better your reward.
The base gameplay loop of Wild Stack Frenzy by Yggdrasil is improved by two interesting features:
- Both Way Wins – Winning lines can be hit both from left to right and from right to left. This isn’t a common feature in most slot machines, so it makes things a bit more interesting.
- Symbol Cascade – Otherwise known as Tumbling symbols, this feature means that any symbols that are part of winning lines are removed from the board. New symbols tumble down from the top of the screen, presenting new opportunities to win.
Wilds
As you may have guessed, Wild symbols are central to this game. As usual, a Wild symbol can replace any other regular symbol to form winning lines. They can appear on any reel and position, too. This makes them extremely useful in conjunction with the fact that you can win both ways – landing a Wild on reels 1 and/or 5 substantially increases your odds of winning something.
Wild symbols in Wild Stack Frenzy are much more powerful than that, though. For starters, they appear in vertical stacks of 3-6 symbols. This often results in entire reels covered with Wilds, leading to multiple chain wins. Cascading symbols can reveal even more Wilds, so we can see how the game got its name.
On top of all that, every Wild symbol appears with a multiplier. The higher the symbol is in a stack of Wilds, the higher the multiplier. This ranges from 1x (no multiplier) on the lowest one to 6x if the stack covers 6 positions in total. Payouts from any winning lines passing through these multipliers are increased by the indicated amount.

Free Spins in Wild Stack Frenzy are unlocked through special Free Spins symbols, which look like mushrooms. Although they offer no payout on their own, landing three or more will net you free spins. Additionally, they act as Scatters because you don’t have to hit them along paylines.
