HOW TO PLAY SNOOP DOGG DOLLARS
You may have noticed that Snoop Dogg Dollars slots don’t have classic reels, rows, or paylines. The game is played on a large 6×8 board and wins are calculated using an atypical system called Cluster Pays. The gist is that you’re not trying to hit paylines. What you need to do instead is land 5 or more matching symbols into a “cluster”. That means that they can be connected vertically or horizontally and that they can be anywhere on the board. As long as you have 5 or more symbols connected this way, you get a payout.
Another important part of the game are Tumbling Symbols, which are sometimes also called Cascades. Any winning symbols are removed from the grid, making room for new symbols to drop down from above. These new symbols and positions can create additional winning clusters, allowing you to win multiple times in a single round.
Additionally, each winning symbol marks its position. If a new win happens in a marked position, a multiplier is added to it starting from 2x. Any additional wins in marked cells increase this multiplier by an additional 2x, which can happen indefinitely.
Bonus Symbols
Any winning cluster also has a chance to “dig up” a bonus symbol in one of its positions. This basically means bonuses can randomly trigger on any win.
Four types of bonus symbols can be created this way:
- Sticky Wild – Wild symbols that remain in their position even if they are part of a winning cluster until the end of the current round
- Weed Symbol – upgrades any multipliers present in any position on the board by +2x, then disappears
- Skull Symbol – destroys all low-paying symbols on the board and disappears. This has a high chance of resulting in new clusters of high-winning symbols
- Scatter Symbol – can win anywhere on the board even if its not part of a cluster. Scatters are also used to trigger free spins
Free Spins
Free spins in Snoop Dogg Dollars are activated by hitting 3 or more scatters. 3, 4, 5, or 6 scatters award 10, 12, 15, or 20 free spins, respectively.
The scatters used to trigger the bonus round are then turned into Wild symbols or empty cells with a 10x multiplier.
Free spins in this game can be re-triggered. If you hit 3 or more Scatters during free spins, you are awarded the same number of additional free spins as if you activated them for the first time.
Betting Options & Feature Buy
If you don’t want to just wait for a bonus round to happen, you can simply purchase them at any point using the Bonus Buy button to the left.
You have 4 options available. Each of these options gives you 3-6 scatters on the next spin. However, more expansive options also guarantee that some of the Scatters will turn into Sticky Wilds.
- Free spins with no guaranteed Wilds cost 100x the bet
- Free spins with 1 guaranteed Wild cost 200x the bet
- 2 guaranteed wilds cost 400x
- For 800x, all Scatters will turn into Wilds, no matter how many of them appear
Additionally, you can enhance your spins with the Snoop Spin option. This option guarantees that at least 1 Wild will appear with every spin. However, it costs 20x the stake per spin without increasing the actual payouts.
