Not all casino games are created equal. As gambling moved online, so did the various titles we enjoyed playing. Some were easy to translate to this new format, and so they became instantly popular. Others never got the attention they deserved for one reason or another. For a long time, fans of Craps had no one to turn to. Now, with the help of Betsoft, we can enjoy this popular title as a table game.
The game can certainly seem quite intimidating at first glance. It has a large number of betting options, all of which try to predict the result of a dice throw. The game keeps the familiar Betsoft user interface, which was customised to work with Craps. Players can enjoy a variety of main and side bets and can play them without any restrictions.
At the start of each round, you need to place bets on the playing field. You do this by setting your coin value and then placing it on bets you want to play. You can place additional wagers after throwing the dice, too. There is no timer rushing you to finish playing. When you are ready to start, click the dice throw button.
The Come, Don’t Come, Pass and Don’t Pass wagers are considered main bets. The Pass and Don’t Pass wagers can only be played during the first round. Come and Don’t Come are only playable after the first bet is played. Pass and Come bets win if you draw seven or eleven. Don’t Pass and Don’t Come wagers win if you draw two, three or twelve.
If neither numbers two, three, seven, eleven or twelve are drawn, a point is established. The point is set for the drawn number and need to be drawn for the Pass bet to win. If the point number is eight, you would need an eight for the Pass wager to win. Don’t Pass wins if seven is drawn before the point number.
Craps has a variety of side bets players can use to spice up their gameplay. We will list them below along with a brief explanation.
The Big 6 wager requires you to draw six before the number seven appears. Big 8 works the same way, only with the number eight. If you win this wager, you receive a 1:1 payout.
An odds bet is an additional bet placed on an original pass, don’t pass, come and don’t come wagers. You play it by clicking or tapping to the right of a pass line. A winning pass line pays differently depending on what numbers you roll. Four or ten pay 2:1, five or nine pay 3:2 and six or eight pay 6:5. The come odds bet has the same payouts.
A don’t pass odds bet pays 1:2 for four or ten, 2:3 for five or nine and 5:6 for six or eight. The don’t come odds bet offers the same rewards.
Field bet wins if you land a two, three, four, nine, ten, eleven or twelve. Three, four, nine, ten or eleven pay 1:1 when won. Two or twelve pay 2:1.
Place bets win wagers win if a specific number is drawn before seven.
Place bet lose wagers win if seven is drawn before a specific number.
Any seven wins if your next number is a seven and pays a 4:1 prize. Any 11 works the same way, and pays 15:1 when won. Finally, Any Craps wins a 7:1 prize if you roll a two, three or twelve on your next dice roll.
While all these wagers are fantastic, they do not grant the best available cash prize. That honour belongs to horn bets! Horn bets win if your next drawn number is a two, three, eleven or twelve. Three or eleven pay 15:1, while two or twelve pay 30:1. 30:1 is the highest possible prize you can win in Betsoft’s Craps.
If you love Craps, then Betsoft’s release will be right up your alley. The developers went out of their way to make it a faithful recreation. All the standard Craps bets are there, each one offering a unique cash prize. Which ones you choose to play comes down to your personal preference. Do you keep it safe or risk it for the biggest possible win? Both are possible in this game.
