Ezugi’s Unlimited Blackjack 21 is a table built for an infinite number of players. All punters are dealt the same card, but everyone can decide a different way to play it! The video quality is fantastic, allowing players to enjoy blackjack action in clear full HD. The dealers are also engaging to interact with, which is always a plus.
The RTP for this game is 99.56%, assuming you perfectly execute the basic blackjack strategy. Dealers will stand on all seventeens, both hard and soft. This release also has two available side bets. Perfect Pairs gives you a prize when your first two cards form a pair. Meanwhile, 21+3 grants a reward if your first two cards and the dealer’s up card form a valid three-card poker hand.
At the start of each round, you are given some time to set up your wagers. Choose one of the available coin bets, and place them on the main bet and side bets you want to play. Side bets cannot be played without first placing a wager on the main bet. All bets you place on the table when the timer runs out will be accepted.
With the 15 seconds of betting time up, the dealer will draw two cards for the players and two for themselves. However, only one will be visible – that is the dealer up card. From here, you can choose to Hit, Stand, Double or Split. Unique to Unlimited Blackjack 21 is the fact certain pairs will be automatically split when they appear. Auto split pairs include 2-2, 3-3, 6-6, 7-7, 8-8 and A-A.
Once everyone on the table has played their cards, the dealer reveals his second card and draws more if needed. The goal is to get as close to 21 as possible without going over, as that results in an automatic loss. The side closest to 21 wins the round. If both sides get an identical number, that leads to a tie, and players getting their money back.
With the Perfect Pairs side bet, players can win an extra prize when their first two cards form a pair. The exact reward varies depending on the quality of the pair. A standard pair will pay 6:1. If the colours match, you can look forward to a 12:1 prize. Finally, if both colours and suit match, that results in a 25:1 perfect pair payout!
Meanwhile, 21+3 tries to form a three-card poker hand from your initial two cards and the dealer’s up card. This bonus pays even if you end up losing the round afterwards! How much you win depends on the strength of the three-card poker hand. The lowest value win is 5:1, and it can go up to 100:1 for suited trips.
Standard payouts are far less exciting but offer a much better RTP. The RTP for Perfect Pairs and 21+3 is 95.9% and 93.71%, respectively. Much lower than the optimal 99.56% you get by not playing them! However, that does mean your biggest win will be a 3:2 payout when you get a blackjack win. Insurance bets pay 2:1, while standard wins pay 1:1 prizes.
Ezugi has certainly shown they have the talent to face off against bigger developers. The inclusion of Auto Split may not be to everyone’s liking. That said, it can be useful; especially in situations where the strategy calls for splitting. If you do not like waiting for an empty spot at a blackjack table, you should definitely check out Unlimited Blackjack 21!
