Vivo Gaming’s Live Blackjack is a standard blackjack table, where up to seven players can play at the same time. Every player is dealt their own hand and can choose to play it as they see fit. The software provider has fantastic video quality, making it easy to follow along the action. We can also go full screen to be fully immersed in the game!
The RTP for this release is 99.53%, assuming you play following the basic blackjack strategy. The dealer stands on a soft 17, and you are only allowed to split once. This title is played with eight decks. Vivo Gaming’s Live Blackjack has two side bets: Perfect Pairs and 21+3. If all the seats are taken, players can also use Bet Behind to wager that their chosen player will win.
If there is an open seat on the table, you will be prompted to take it. After you take a seat, you will be offered to choose a coin value that suits you. Pick one, and place it on the main bet. You can also wager on the two available side bets, but only after you have already wagered on the Ante. If you have coins on the table as the betting time runs out, they will be accepted automatically.
The dealer draws two cards for all active players. They also draw two cards for themselves, one of which is visible to punters. The dealer peeks for blackjack. After cards are drawn, you can choose to hit, stand, split or double your hand. There are no restrictions on doubling; you can do it with any two numbers.
After choosing what you want to do, the round proceeds. Once all players finish their turns, the dealer will reveal their second card. If neither side has busted, the one closest to twenty-one will win the round. If you draw twenty-one with your first two cards, that is a blackjack win and pays more than usual. In case of a tie, punters get their money back.
If you play 21+3, your first two cards and the dealer’s visible card will try to form a three-card poker hand. The better the hand is, the more it will be worth.
Perfect Pairs pays cash if your first two cards form a pair. The exact payout varies depending on how ‘perfect’ your pair is.
While waiting for an open seat, you can bet on another player’s hand. That said, you cannot make any decisions while playing Bet Behind. You have to hope the player you bet on will make the right calls.
If you draw a blackjack win, it results in a 3:2 payout. This is the best possible win you can get if you choose not to play side bets. Standard wins pay just 1:1, while insurance bets pay 2:1. Despite paying better than average, insurance bets are not worth playing. We recommend skipping them entirely.
Vivo Gaming’s Live Blackjack is a great game. It does not try anything new. Instead, it focuses on being the best possible blackjack release it can be. The developers have done a great job here and implemented the most popular side bets. On top of that, we have useful features like the Bet Behind option. If you are looking for a great blackjack table, look no further than Vivo Gaming’s offering.
