888 Holdings and Yggdrasil Gaming have signed an agreement according to which the gaming operator will add the developer’s award-winning portfolio of video slots to its game collection.
The agreement covers all the regulated markets in which 888casino operates such as the United Kingdom, Italy, Denmark and Spain. The casino customers from these countries will be able to play all Yggdrasil-powered video slots including recently released Vikings go to Hell that is already huge with gamblers. The operator will be also able to utilise the complementary in-game promotional tools BOOST that allow casinos host competitions in which players have an opportunity to win prizes by climbing up leaderboards.
According to Yggdrasil CEO Fredrik Elmqvist, the signing of such a deal is the further evidence that their content is in high-demand from operators.
“888 is a hugely significant name in the industry and we are certain our games will be well received by their players,” said Elmqvist and added that they were delighted to have 888 on board and working tirelessly to ensure that the casino customers could enjoy their slots as soon as possible.
Yggdrasil titles would complement the 888casino’s recent relaunch on their new proprietary platform, said Hila Klein, SVP, Head of Product Technologies at 888.
“Yggdrasil’s rich content portfolio will be very welcomed aboard the 888 proposition as we continue to offer a market-leading casino experience to players worldwide,” concluded Klein.
Present in the market since 1997, 888casino is one of the online gaming veterans that provides players with a diverse range of virtual and live casino games. Both new and regular players are treated with regular promotional offers that can be used on slots, table and live games.
