Evolution Gaming’s First Person Roulette is a live dealer table with a unique twist. Rather than being played in front of a live dealer and with other players, the game is simulated and played solo. In every other aspect, the title plays identically to Live European Roulette by the same developer. As a result, you can press a button to swap to the live version at any time! The animations and visuals are top-notch, which goes a long way in immersing punters.
The RTP for this release is 97.30%, assuming optimal play. There are no changes to the rules. This allows experienced players to start enjoying this game without any extra knowledge needed.
First Person Roulette is played on a 37 pocket wheel with a single green zero. The remaining thirty-six pockets are split among red and black numbers. The user interface is the same one Evolution Gaming use in their other titles. Mousing over each bet tells you clearly what numbers will be wagered on. Everything is clearly labelled, so even new players will not have any issues playing this game!
Available bets include inside bets (corner, line, street, split, straight up) and outside bets (column, dozen, odd/even, high/low, red/black). Using the racetrack above the vetting board, you can place neighbour bets. You can pick one of four ‘French’ bets called Tiers du Cylindre, Orphelins a Cheval, JeuZero and Voisins du Zero.
Alternatively, you can manually place a neighbour bet by clicking a number. It will place your selected coin value on that position, and two of its neighbours on the wheel. You can increase the number of neighbour numbers using the plus and minus buttons. There is no timer for any wagers you make, allowing you to take your time with each bet.
You can open a statistics page, allowing you to keep track of previous rounds. If you played for a while, you can use it to search for patterns if that is something you enjoy doing. If you get bored of playing it solo, you can always swap to the live version by clicking the Go Live button!
If you are gunning for the biggest payout, then you have to play the Straight Up inside bet. The odds of scoring it are low, but you will receive a 35:1 reward for scoring it! Other inside bets are also high risk, high reward. Splits pay 17:1, street pays 11:1, corner pays 8:1 and line pays 5:1. Outside bets are lower risk and have smaller payouts as a result. Columns and dozen wagers reward you with a 2:1 payout, while red/black, odd/even and high/low pay even money.
First Person Roulette is far more similar to RNG-powered tables than it is to its live casino brethren. In spite of that, it remains one click away from being a live dealer game: literally! If you still are not sold on live casino games, this is a fantastic way to try one out.
