HOW TO PLAY CANDY CORNER
Candy Corner is played on a 7×7 grid using a system of Cluster Pays. In contrast to traditional slot games with reels and rows, the focus is on creating groups or “clusters” of symbols rather than forming winning lines. These clusters can be formed both vertically and horizontally on the grid, but a minimum of 6 matching symbols is necessary to receive a payout. You don’t need to match them in any particular shape or order, but the symbols need to be connected to one another.
Most other things work as they usually do in online slots. Payouts are based on the number and value of symbols you hit in a cluster. The more you combine, the bigger the prize.

Additionally, the Candy Corner slot machine also features cascading symbols. Any winning symbols are removed from the grid. Symbols in positions above them tumble down into the newly empty positions, while entirely new symbols fall from above the reels. These new symbols in new positions can now form winning clusters, allowing players to string together multiple payouts in a single spin.
Corner Features
The four positions in the corners of the grid are not the same as all the others. Symbols typically don’t land on these positions, and they’re empty most of the time.
However, there’s a chance to land special bonus symbols on one or more of these corners in every spin. In the base game, only one instance of one type of special symbol can land in a single round.
Four types of special feature symbols can land on these positions:
- Direct Money Award – an instant payout that simply rewards the player with between 2x and 50x
- Win Multiplier -multipliers any regular wins in the current spin by a random modifier ranging from 2x to 100x
- Add Wilds – randomly creates 2-8 Wild symbols in random positions of the grid
- Big Wild – a big Wild symbol lands somewhere on the grid. It works as if it was multiple Wilds in a 2×2, 3×3, 4×4, or 5×5 square
Free Spins
Landing 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 scatter symbols anywhere on the board awards the player 6, 8, 10, 12, or 14 free spins, respectively.
During Candy Corner free spins, up to 4 corner features of the same type can land in the same spin. The only exception is the Big Wild feature, which can only appear twice in a single round. It is also possible to land Extra Free Spins modifiers, which award up to +5 free spins. At least 2 modifiers of any type are guaranteed on every spin.
However, any time you trigger the free spin bonus round in Candy Corner, there’s a chance that you’ll activate golden free spins. Once this happens, one of the special corner features is selected before the first spin. This feature is guaranteed to appear on every spin alongside the two regular guaranteed effects, which change with every spin. Also, if Extra Spins are chosen as the random effect during free spins, players get an extra +10 free spins.
