HOW TO PLAY DORK UNIT
The basic gameplay of Dork Unit will be familiar to all fans of online slots. You have a 5×4 board and a total of 16 active paylines.
That means you can only win if you hit three or more symbols along one of the paylines, going from left to right. No surprises there.
Of course, things get a lot more interesting once you factor in the special symbols and features. For starters, we have the three Gift Boxes. Gift Boxes are basically Wild symbols that also come with multipliers attached. If you make a winning combination using one of them, the displayed multiplier is applied to the total payout.
Additionally, Gift Boxes are split into three ‘ranks’ – the bigger, shinier boxes come with bigger rewards. These can go all the way up to 200x, which means even regular spins can offer decent rewards.
Bonus Round
If you hit any three boxes at the same time, you trigger the Gift Box Bonanza special feature. During the Bonanza, gift boxes become sticky and stay in their position until the end of the feature. It starts with three free spins and the sticky boxes – the reels will keep spinning with an improved chance of winning thanks to the sticky wilds. The feature goes on until you get three free spins in a row with no new boxes.
Dork Unit Free Spins
Lenny, one of the clowns, also acts as a sort of Scatter symbol. However, he doesn’t come with an instant payout. Instead, if you hit 3 Lenny symbols anywhere on the table, the Dork Spins feature kicks off.
First of all, you get 10 free Dork Unit spins. During the free spins, one of the three clowns can appear on reels 2, 3, and 4. If that happens, the Dork expands to cover the entire reel and acts as a Wild symbol. This full-reel Wild sticks around until the end of the free spins round.
