HOW TO PLAY IMMORTAL DESIRE
Remember how we just said that Immoral Desire is about big, bombastic bonus rounds? Well, that means the base game is quite straightforward.
The game uses a relatively large table with 5 reels and 4 rows. To win, all you have to do is match 3 or more identical symbols on at least three connected reels, starting from the leftmost reel. This means that Immortal Desire does not have any fixed paylines – the row on which a particular symbol appears is irrelevant for making winning lines.
As far as basic features are concerned, the game also boasts a standard Wild symbol. It can substitute any other regular symbol, which doesn’t include Scatters of Free spins.
More importantly, the game also has a feature called the Blood Reel. During any spin, any reel may be randomly selected as a Blood Reel. Any high-paying symbols appearing on this Blood Reel are awarded multipliers of 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 10x, 25x, 50x, and 100x. Any winning lines that pass through one or more such multipliers are multiplied by the total amount. Multiple high-paying symbols can be summed additively before multiplying the payout.
Visually, the Blood Reel will turn our humble nuns into seductive vampiresses. Blood Reels may appear during regular play and the Blood Moon feature, but not during Dark Awakening.
Blood Moon Free Spins in Immortal Desire
Landing three Free Spins symbols kicks off the Blood Moon bonus round. Free Spins symbols act as a Scatter, so it doesn’t matter which position on the game board they hit.
10 free spins are awarded instantly. During free spins, all Blood Reels are persistent, meaning they stay active until the bonus round ends. However, multipliers are refreshed with each spin, making room for new wins.
You can win additional spins by hitting Free Spins symbols during Blood Moon. 2 such symbols award 2 additional spins, while 3 Free Spins symbols award 4 spins.
Dark Awakening
The other big bonus round in Immortal Desire from Hacksaw is the Dark Awakening. In many ways, it works like a Hold & Win feature in other games. However, it’s generally a wholly unique kind of slot bonus round.
Hitting 4 Free Spins symbols activates this feature. During it, all regular symbols are removed from the game. They’re replaced by three types of symbols – gravestones, awakened multipliers, and coffins.
The gravestones are essentially blank spots that don’t do anything. Awakened multipliers are simply versions of the four main characters. They appear with randomly assigned multipliers that can be both additive or multiplicative, depending on their trim. Hitting any of these will add their multiplier value to the top of the reels. Multiplicative multipliers multiply the already collected multiplier at the top (what a mouthful!) As you can tell, your goal is to stack up as high of a multiplier as possible on the top of the screen.
Finally, the Coffin symbol sticks to the board. At the end of the bonus round, it reveals its own multiplier of 2x-10x. This last multiplier affects the total winnings gathered so far in its respective reel.
