HOW TO PLAY LUCKY APOCALYPSE
The base game of Lucky Apocalypse takes place on a 6×5 grid filled with symbols. As usual, all you have to do is set your stake and press the Spin button to play.
However, unlike most other online slot machines, you don’t have to arrange the symbols on the grid in any particular order. Instead of classic paylines and combinations, this game uses a system called Scatter Pays, otherwise known as Pay Anywhere.
This means that the location of the symbols on the grid does not matter for the purpsoes of calculating wins. Instead, all you have to do is land enough symbols of one kind, anywhere on the grid. The symbols don’t have to be connected in any way, either, which makes things a lot easier.
However, you need at leas 8 symbols of one type in order to receive a payout. The payout is increased for every smbol above 8, up to a maximum of 15. It’s possible to hit more than 15 symbols in a single spin, but the payout won’t increase any further.
Additionally, Lucky Apocalypse has win cascades, i.e tumbling symbols. Any winning symbols are removed from the grid, and any symbols above them tumble down to take their place. New symbols also appear from above the grid, allowing you another chance to win.
Gigablox
Regular symbols can sometimes appear as Gigablox. These are basically bigger versions of standard symbols, appearing as 2×2, 3×3, or 4×5 square.
They act as a cluster of regular symbols, making it easier to record big wins. A Gigablox symbol is basically 4, 9, or 20 instances of one symbol. Considering paylines don’t really matter in Lucky Apocalypse, however, the fact that they appear in squares is irrelevant.
Progress Bar
You’ve probably noticed the big progress bar above the reels. This feature awards extra bonuses every time you manage to string together multiple winning cascades:
- 4 cascades – random Gigablox symbol appears
- 6 cascades – 1-4 Wilds randomly scattered on the grid
- 8 cascades – Free Spins feature triggers
The progress bar resets back to 0 every time you hit “spin”, though, so all of these bonuses have to be collected in a single round.
Lucky Apocalypse Free Spins
The bonus round in Lucky Apocalypse is a relatively standard Free Spin round. You get 8 spins for filling out the whole Progress Bar during the base game.
During Free Spins, a single Gigablox simbol is guaranteed to appear in every round. Moreover, the Progress Bar is replaced by special bonuses instead of the usual ones.
Every step of the Progress Bar adds a win multiplier on all wins during the same round. THe multiplier ranges from 2x to 50x. Filling out the whole bar awards the player 8 additional free spins.
