When talking about the visuals, the Quickspin title is pretty much the same as the original game, only his time we have a couple of new characters populating the reels.
The nicely dressed young Man is again the main protagonist of the story since he and his beautiful Girlfriend (which also appears in the original video slot) are planning a new heist in Tokyo. As you drive with them in a fast car, you will enjoy the sites of one of the largest cities in the world.

When it comes to the rules of the game, there are some differences between the original and the sequel. The 2019 release features five reels and offers 3-3-4-4-5 reel grid, benefiting from 76 ways to win. The number of ways to win increases after every win, but more about that later. To win payouts, just land three or more matching symbols on a payline.
The Quickspin title pays left to right, starting from the leftmost reel. Betting is fixed at 20 coins per spin, but the coin value can be altered, so players can wager from $0.20 to $100 per single spin.
Thanks to the Respin on any Win feature, every win will trigger a free respin. That is not all, because the reel grid will also start expanding and the number of ways to win will also increase. The reel grid expands until it reaches 5×5. First respin will get you 90 ways to win, second comes with 154 ways to win, third with 164 ways, and the fourth offers 259 ways to win. Winning symbols will move one step towards left, while other symbols perform a respin.
There is also the Super Respin feature, activated after the fourth consecutive respin. In Super Respin, all winning symbols are kept on their positions and respins continue until there are no more winning symbols added on the reels.

We usually say that on rare occasions the sequel is better than the original. There have been several video slots that proved us wrong, but Wild Chase: Tokyo Go is not one of them. Even though the maximum payout is increased and that the visuals are somewhat better, the special features are not as good as the one from The Wild Chase. There are no free spins and no multipliers on the offer. The only thing left are the respins, which are not as exciting, at least in our humble opinion.
